Fluent Medic Nearly ready for launch

Our developer team have been hard at work building both the app itself and a database building system allowing us to scale quickly and add all the languages and questions that we need.

Since the advent of the Covid-19 crisis we have redoubled our efforts so that Fluent Medic can be of use during this time.

Now we’re in a position to share the first screen shots from the app and from the back-end system.

The look and functionality of the app is only half of the work however. Just as, if not more important is the content. From the start we wanted Fluent Medic to be used all over the world, in order to do that we need all the questions and all the answers in all the languages.

For now we’re aiming to launch with the languages you see above, as they cover a sizeable proportion of the world’s population. Covering even these 10 languages means a massive amount of data, all of which has to be organised and linked together, a hugely complex task, therefore one of our top priorities was to build a system for taking all that data in, we call this the Wizard:

Using this wizard we’ll be able to easily and efficiently build our database and allow doctors and translators from all over the world to add to it. Doctors are already using this system to build the content for the app, which is what is now allowing us to move towards being ready to launch the app.
